I have got a real funny with a couple of wills - Margaret Spalding (1756) and her husband William Waterson (1776). Both were searched, purchased and downloaded on 18 August 2014.

William's will is listed in the saved images but Margaret's is not. When I click on the view  for William it says 'No image found for the requested record' and then Access Denied!

Margaret's doesn't even appear in the listing. I did a search yesterday and got a listing but it said 'no image'. Luckily, I do have both wills on backup disks and they are definitely there.

I reported this yesterday but haven't had an acknowledgement (apart from my request for a copy of message). I don't expect them to reply as swiftly as they used to but, in the meantime, has anyone got any explanations as to why these images have just disappeared from the site?

Yes Gadget I have a few wills missing also just as well I printed copies of them

Glad it's not just me, Rosie.

I had a disk crash last year and it was unrecoverable - luckily I had two backup disks so didn't lose anything but if they had been lost, they'd have gone for good.

My Husband has a lot saved in timeline thankfully they are still there or you can guess who would be getting the blame

I have the same problem. My timeline records only go back to 1874, so lots and lots are missing. I did message them yesterday, so now waiting for their reply.

No real way to search previous searches/saved images now why on earth have they done that?

I've asked about why the two sets of  images have disappeared from the wills section and my saved images a couple of days ago now but had no reply.They have usually been very good at replying and sorting things out.

I am not best pleased

I think I have all the wills downloaded but I liked to think of ScotlandsPeople as my backup on the cloud if I needed to access them from elsewhere. 

I took them at their word when they said the previous searches and images would be available.
