Allen or Roberts

At the bottom of the picture there is an entry for a Robinson marriage to a Mary.
What one is her last name? Would it be Roberts or Allen?
I'm confused about this one.

The names in brackets appear to have been added by the compiler.  Everything else is as it was transcribed from the original record.

So I would interpret this to mean that Mary Allen was a previously married woman (probably a widow) whose married name was Allen and whose maiden name was Roberts.

The question mark suggests that whoever compiled this was not certain that the woman was previously Roberts but suspected so.
