he married under his own name and under te name of robert on the same day just changed his birth year by a year. i know of his marriage but it was details of where he was that i was asking for.

re 1911
 He was living at, 17 Clankittane Square Cork on the 2nd February 1911 (record; death of son)
                        , 16 military Road  (Military Hill) Cork on the 23rd  march (record; death of daughter)
                         , and the 2nd April 1911 (Census record)

was that not the 1911 census record posted by dathai earlier?
I thought it was established that he got married as Robert

thanks all i have him as robert okay but am trying to find if he lived a seperate life as benjamin or continued to live as robert.he married as benjamin without leave then same day married as robert but put his birth a year different. on his death certificate dated 9th dec  1913 he is in coventry as benjamin joseph whitehead with margaret whitehead giving the details of his death dying at home due to illness. i am sorry if i am causing confusion  but i am trying to find when he changed to robert and back to benjamin joseph.

There only one marriage record as far as I can see:

Looking at the earlier thread, I gather that on his military record he gives a date and spouse name which is similar but not the same as the actual marriage record which was found then and is the same as quoted here.
