marriage record look up please

Could someone please help.I am stuck on my family history research having conflicting info.John Bidmead married Ann ?they were witnesses at the wedding of johns son,Richard,in 1822,st.Mary de lode church,17/07/1822 but can find no marriage/birth details for them.Richard is registered as being the son of john and Mary,but maybe Mary died?I would be grateful for any advice anyone can give.thanks Ali

There is a marriage for a John Bidmead to a Mary Charles on 14 June 1786 at Bristol.

Family search has a burial for a Mary Bidmead on 19 February 1790 at Gloucester so might be the Mary who married John.

Or maybe a Brother of Richard was the Witness?

So there must be Children born elsewhere between 1787-1795

Mary Bichmead, 71, Independant, born in County
Joseph Bichmead, 35, Mason, not born in County

I also notice a Marriage on F/S.Org which may be related;
Elizabeth BIDMEAD or Bidmend married William CROCKET, 2 June 1839, St. Mary-De-Lode'S Church, Gloucester

Ooops the Census I quoted was the 1841 not 1851. So May Charles born c 1770 Glous.

How to prove which is yours would be hard .
