I can see a marriage in Leeds of an Austin Mackshee to a Bridget Lavin in 1867, can this be ruled out? (BTW, what is the basis for his wife's surname being 'Mullond', have you seen it confirmed on the childrens' birth certificates?)

can some one find the birth of austin mcshee and his marriage to bridget mullond my 2nd gr grandparents both born ireland

aghadowey yes i checked the links , i cant find any thing as in birth for austin mcshee or rachel mullond , and the mary in the 2 census cant be mine ... austins daughter as she was born 1871 darlington

So who is 'rachel mullond' supposed to be?

bridget  mullond married austin mcshee and in 1881 census he brother is lodging with them all my family and others on ancestry trees have her as mullond , maybe that is where im going wrong

gaffy this might be my austin all i know is he went by mcshee as did all his children in the census and on his daughters marriage certificate she is annie mcshee .. maybe it was spelt differnet in ireland

The oldest daughter, Anne (Amoria?) is likely Honoria (or Honor) McShee born QE June 1869 in Haslington, Lancashire which includes Bacup which is what is given in the 1881 census.
