From the 1901/1911  census and Manchester births on Ancestry she would appear to be Henrietta Eliza A(deline) Taylor b June quarter 1900 in Barton on Irwell. However seems to have lost 10 years by 1939.

See what I mean about getting the Henrietta's mixed up!!  So is this the same person as I had b.1908 in Prestwich?  If it is her, it would be as I thought that she had been married before Leo.

I have found the entry but she is named as Henrietta B A Taylor married to Alexander Marsden so middle names don't tally

Could it be a transcription error if she was Henrietta E A Taylor, it wouldn't be difficult to transcribe it as Henrietta B A Taylor?

Probably transcription error as Groom suggests.  Think your best bet is to get the birth certificate for the 1908 Henrietta Lindley Taylor
