Thanks very much to all for the assistance! There is definitely conflicting information regarding whether Charles Henry/Henry Charles was born in Canada or England. I don't have definitive evidence of him being the brother of John Henry, but what I do have is written memoirs of my grandmother and her siblings in which they refer to two different children of Henry Charles (Eveline and Melissa Abigail Bell) as being cousins of their father (George Henry Lewis Bell, son of John Henry).

I also find it odd that Charles Henry stopped showing up in the Canada census at some point (off the top of my head I can't remember if it was 1861, 71 or 81) but his wife was still being recorded as married, not widowed. She moved at some point from Compton to another district I think, at one point being recorded as Phebe Bell, and another time as Amanuel Bell. Her grave refers to her as "wife of HC Bell", but I can't find his grave anywhere I've looked. He just sort of disappeared.

But of course that's Canada, not England. It's neither here nor there. I'm primarily interested in finding a John and Hannah (Anna?) Bell (Beale? Belle? Ball?) in England who may have had a John H. in late 1832 and a Henry C. (or Charles H.) circa 1829.
