Are these photos the same man? Great Grandad Scales (Bermondsey)

Is anybody able to decide if these photos are of the same man or not?

Both are photographed with my Great Grandad F.G.M. Scales in 1937, but I'm not sure if they are the same person since one photo is in profile... all opinions welcome!

In my view yes.

Man in bottom photo has a much longer chin however that may be due to the angle the photo was taken. My first thought was that they are two different men but the more I look at it the more similarities I see.

Same hat anyway.

    The hats have a different pattern on them.

At first I thought yes, but looking at them again I'm  not sure. I think the first man appears to have a much sharper, thinner nose. As Ruskie says the chins appear to be different and I think the ears are too.

A very definite yes from me. Nose, eyebrows, chin, all look the same to me.
