yes it is a bit baffling but also on that entry look at the years married any number of children.

Bit of a curve ball here - you know he is going out to his uncle Thomas Pritchard in Chicago - could that be his father maybe ?

Mother died in 1896 - father emigrated leaving the younger children with his sister, the older children move out to him and then later so does John........

have to go out now but will be back later -

are you on ancestry or FindMyPast - having huge issues on ancestry - I even looked for one of my own family known's and its not bringing anything up,

Seems to be ok at moment.

If we believe that border crossing then Mother Mary was still alive in 1913 as well  ???

Hannah B P Roberts - born 1888 passed away December 1937 - aged 49 years - Aled Denbighshire - 11 b 373

Hanna Blodwin was adopted by her aunt Hannah and her uncle Jonah Roberts and lived with them in Wales until her death in 1937

Blew up that section of the attestaion papers - all becomes clearer !!! You can see Miss Blodwen Roberts - crossed out Mr Jonah Roberts - foster father
