Hoping to find some information about my grandmother's cousin, she was Laura Mary Ward nee Hughes, born at Bryncroes Caernarvonshire in 1888,she was the daughter of Robert and Ellen Hughes Shop Sarn, later called Liverpool House,I would love to find out about her after she moved to Birmingham,I have found her on the 1939 register married to Alfred J Ward and had a daughter called Margaret, they lived at 259 Yardley Wood Road,Birmingham,I would like to find them in the 1911 census to see if she had any other children.Would love to find when she married and died.

Sorry but we aren't allowed to do lookups for 1911 England/Wales census.

Have you tried searching here- https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1921547

Have you found the marriage yet? if children were born England/Wales you might be able to find them in the indexes-
https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

If she was born 1888 by 1911 she was only 23 so perhaps not long married?

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

She could be the child of Alfred or Laura born before marriage. You'll probably need to find the marriage and Laura (and Alfred) in 1911 to sort this out better.

If you use the new search facility on the GRO, the Margaret I Ward who was born Dec quarter 1910 has a mother with the maiden name of Stokes. Are you sure that is the same family?

I think it is the right family,Laura must have been his second wife he was 17 years older than her.She left Wales very young I think she was a nurse, she probably didn't have any children herself.
