German Prisoner Of War WWII in America

Hi there, can anyone tell me where I can find information of a German officer who was prisoner of war during WWII in America? I'm trying to write a book.

Do you have some information from the WASt?
Do you know the last regiment he was in?
Do you know when and where he got captured?
