Can anyone help with this please....

David Maurice Povolotsky was born in Hackney in 1928...Davids mother Sadie Press  remarried in 1934 to someone called Harry Sharp.....David then had taken the surname Sharp.
I think in the  60's David married thats where i get stuck.......someone said he might of married under the name of Maurice Sharp but i cannot find anything at all on this.....he could also of divorced in the 60's im told.....

Is there anybody who could shed some light on this please...i dont think he had any children either.

Wondering why both marriages were under Sadie Press but I see both surnames are listed - actually three surnames are listed for Sadie including Powell - did his father pass away?

There are marriages in the 1960's under that name but would suggest you have a look on Free BMD index.  Unless you know for sure he is deceased we aren't allowed to post about living people

Yes i did see the name Powell also cannot find anymore on that.
Oh yes i did know your not able to post on living people but David is deceased ...as for his father passing away that im not sure of...im just trying to find out some information for a friend..

Sadie's marriage and death were both registered in Birmingham and the David M marriage to Shirley in 1956 was also in Birmingham.

It might be worth posting on the Warwickshire board.

Strange. I can't imagine that two couples with those exact same names could be married a year apart.

The spouse seems to have a birth registered in Hendon. Could it be a civil followed by a church ceremony, but why registered twice?

This person's mother married again in 1937 in Hendon and the father in Birmingham in 1938 - again a connection.
