Yes...I've checked marriages all over!. To any John Foster and Sarah anyone. There are a couple of same, but don't match up with the known children.
I'll have another look at the registration of births - as you say, it's certainly a lot easier and cheaper than the marriage certificates. Hopefully, they will put them (marriages) online on day
