There is a long rigmarole of saying that there were some things omittted from the original inventory.

I have started halfway down the page here on Clip 3, where it gets more interesting!


In the first the said umq(ui)ll Robert Lockart had the goods
geir sommes of money and debts pertaining to him the tyme of his
deceis forsaid omitted out of the said prin(cipa)ll confirmed testament
and als(o) yvell appretial the r  till be the said C Lockhart principle

exe(cuto)r nominat and confirmed to him In maner above Spec(ified) To witt
of readie gold money and gold lyand in pledges besyde the defunct and
intromettd with be the said Sara Elphingstonne to the valow of jaj lib
scots money or thereby and thir by and attour the radie money containt in the
principll testament Item ane horse worth Lx lib money Item the de-
functs part of the goodschp called the C whereof James Lokart is M(aste)r with
the proferts thereof estimatd to the somme of iijC and x lib money
Item ane watch with Lxxij lib money

          fallows the goods and geir ivell appretial
Item whereas the defuncts part of that ship called C whereof Johne
allane in the quenfferrie is sckipper and M(aste)r Is only estimat to ij C
marks yet the same with the defuncts part eith the profeits thereof was
no les worth then the somme of Three hundreth and LM: and sua
yvell appretiat in the somme of j C lib money Item whereas the insight
plenesching that the defuncts house is estimat in the princiapll testament
to the somme of iij C markes yet the samen was no less worth nor the
somme of C and sua yvell appretial in the somme of

Item their was rest  and awand to the said umquill defunct the tyme of
his deceas forsaid and omitted out of the pricipall confirmed testament

aires and executors by bond grantd be him to Robert Liddell in
