It is a record of the marriage of John Craig of the 92nd Regiment of Foot and Jane Peterskin, daughter of John Peterskin, a Labourer. Not sure what characters before Jane mean. Also if it is saying Jane was from this parish.

Does this one fit the timeline? -

Added.... record is on Findmypast - http://search.findmypast.co.uk/record?id=gbm%2fwo97%2f1007%2f045%2f001&parentid=gbm%2fwo97%2f1007%2f844501&highlights=%22%22

Wounded at Waterloo. Received two years extra pensionable service for Waterloo and two years eleven months 'half-period' bonus for service in India. This applied to men enlisting up to 1818 due to the high risk of catching a tropical illness in either West or East Indies. Left with 1s 3d per day pension. Intended residence was Glasgow.

He would have received his Waterloo medal soon after the battle. To receive medals for the Peninsular campaign a man had to be alive in June 1847.

Could the father's spelling be Petreskin?

Petrekin, Petriken, - an odd name.  I will need to look further!

Cheers

Probably Peterkin, long established in Scotland. The 92nd was a Scottish regiment from the same part of Scotland where the surname had early use.
