It looks like the 1886 marriage is the right one since the father's name is correct.  Maybe when Benjamin found out that Alexandrina had told a BIG porkie and was beyond childbearing age and practically old enough to be his Mum, he moved out quick and found a new love who could give him a load of children.
(Can't blame him really!)

Sparrett - Stephen Fuller had 10 daughters (and one son) but I haven't found one called Helen.  I do see the marriage you refer to and the father's name is correct, but I think she would be a cousin since 'my' Stephen had a cousin also called Stephen who was around the same age. Alexandrina did have a niece called Helen but she was too young to be the widow you refer to.  The Fullers were extremely prolific so Helen is almost certainly a relative-

In any event it's plain that A.V. was never an emigrant to NSW, (though I can't find her anywhere in England either) so maybe I ought to mark this thread as answered, or is it OK to continue here?
