Thanks Guys, I have found out that Boyd 3615, went to Egypt 19th April 1915 and was attached to the 2nd Mounted Division Hussars.  He was reported to have died sometime between 23rd April 1916 and 13th September 1916.

Just looking for the details of where his effects were sent.

He died as a prisoner of war in Asia Minor, between 23rd April 1916 and 13th September 1916.
He is commemorated on Basra War Memorial, Iraq, panel 60.

Guys,

Fantastic work.  The horse dealer and cavalry tie in, his address in Shotts in the marriage tie in, where do you see the "soldier's effects".  What do you have as a date of death in 1916

Just to close out Frederick Boyd.

Annie Boyd, residing at 51 Easter Road, Shotts, employed as a pit head worker, married Thomas Connell, a 21 year old coal miner of 67 Shotts Kirk Road, Shotts, at 19 Howard Street, Glasgow in the presence of James Frew and Mary Carol Frew on 24th July 1920.
