William Palmer Somerset 1878

Can someone please help me to confirm William 2's parents and grandparents (as far back as you like) below is what I know is fact from birth and marriage certificates.. I believe William 2 was born in Somerset abt 1878

William Palmer (we'll call 1) was born on 29/7/1915 at 2 church place in Bargoed, his mother's name Elizabeth Ann Palmer formally Davies and father William Palmer, occupation colliery haulier.. registration district: Merthyr Tydfil

William Palmer (we'll call 2) and Elizabeth was married on 11/6/1901 in the registry office in Bridgend: William was listed as 23, a colliery worker living at 28 Nanthir Road in Blaengarw fathers names William Palmer(we'll call 3). 
Elizabeth was living at 5/6 James road, Blaengarw fathers name Thomas Davies...

This is William in 1901 same address as marriage cert

ADDED: Last available census family are in Rhymney, Monmouth. 1 child also enumerated with maternal grandparents.
