Look at how the 'B' is formed for Witness name which I think is James Brough.

Seems to me that the penmanship of the 'R' for Reece and the 'B' for Brough have the same separation from the upright part of the capital

If that birth is correct and her father was in the Army it might be worth have a look at the English 1901 Census for the family.

I agree with Porter.

But Bride's surname looks to me like Preece.
