Recently found a certain Frederick William Montague James Dyer death Trail BC,born 21 June 1902 Dorchester England.
His marriage records on Family Search show his father as a George Dyer born Wilton England.
Mother, Louisa Rendell born Godmanstone England,,, [believe Dorset]

1911 the family are in Bristol,where Frederick William M J is a nephew age 9.
So obviously not George Dyers son.

Due to the very many Dyers in Wiltshire am unable to nail down exactly which Dyer family this guy who emigrated to British Columbia comes from.Wonder if anyone can fill me in Thanks Brionne.

No birth record coming up with mothers maiden surname Rendell. Did you notice what else it said that was crossed out on that census we cannot transcribe

Mother Lucy Rendell born Godmanstone England
Bride Lundie Annie Hill Borafort ,,,may be Broadfort age 16 Domestic servant born Glasgow.
Presbyterian. father John Borafort living Trail BC.
Date 8 June 1922.
Will have another look at image FS,, sorry no good at putting on links.
He married a Mary Margaret Ewings who predeceased him.

These are the 2 records - so if its the same Frederick he married twice.

Yes,thanks, these are the two records I found.He did marry twice by the look of it,the informant ,,,,son,has a different name on death record.
Will have to look at Dyers in depth in Wiltshire, pre1911, did wonder if anyone in Canada may pick this up.Reason for posting,Thanks again Brionne.

Marys parents - Albert Ewings, Mary Clayten.

There was a Frederick W Dyer (electrician) and Margaret Dyer (teacher) on Canada Voters List 1953/62 - 1805 Arcola Street Burnaby -

George Dyer born 1869 Wilton and aged 56 years appears on a border crossing Canada to USA - 16 May 1925 - Port of Arrival Washington on the Cecilian - Residence trail British Columbia. Going to Seattle Washington. Wife Louisa.

Louisa Dyer crossed border 1 May 1925 - going for 2 months to visit husband

Had arrived Quebec on the Silician - July 1919.
