Hi Sandra

Great to see you still working hard on this project  :)

Just from the general index, this looks to be the family for 1911 in Dalziel:

John 42
Mary 41
Robert
Harriet 18
George 16
John 14
Anna 11
Jeanie 9
Nellie 3

Another family showing in Possilpark, headed up by a Patrick and Mary and children.

There are only two families showing in the whole of Lanarkshire. The surname is not common it seems.

John Catney, steelworker, was still living at 62d Gavin Street in 1925.
However, that was almost 100 years ago now and those tenements in Gavin St are, I'm pretty sure, gone by now.
Paterson, Torrance, Gilchrist - Hamilton Lanarkshire.
McCallum - Oban, McKechnie - Ross of Mull Argyll.
Scrim - Perthshire.
Liddell - Polmont,
Binnie - Muiravonside Stirlingshire.
Curran, McCafferty, Stevenson, McCue - Co Donegal
Gibbons, Weldon - Co Mayo.
Devlin - Co Tyrone.
Leonard - County Donegal & Glasgow.

Wondering if sisters - Harriet Catney married Thomas Smith - 1916 - Bellshill - 625/373 entry 73

and Nellie Angus Catney - 1930 - 639/103 - Dalziel to Robert Young.

Some possible connected deaths for siblilngs to George:

Mother's maiden name of Allan:

1981 Harriet Catney aged 87 - Bellshill Lanarkshire...Other surname of Smith.
1986 Anna Catney aged 86 - Motherwell and Wishaw...Other surname of McCrindle.

It looks like there are several Catneys living in the Larkhall area, according to the current electoral roll.

Frustrating, Sandra  :-\  I also haven't got membership to Genes Reunited but there are at least two people with listings that connect here...which bring us up to living descendants of this family group I would guess.

Some birth entries showing up to 1990s that I can see for at least one of these tree owners.
