Help with Scottish birth place name on a US Marriage Certificate

Hi,
 On the 1881 census in Wallsend, Northumberland there is a couple transcribed on familysearch.org as

William ANDERSON born 1860 Scotland General Labourer
Esther ANDERSON born 1857 Whitechurch (Hawk) England

RG11/5071/84 page 41

I cannot find them in 1891 and I cannot find a marriage in England for a William & Esther. It would be worth looking at the original to see what the actual birthplace of Esther is.

It says place of birth , Whit(e)church - but there are a few.  Hawker not on the original*

There is an interesting death showing in 1894

Esther Marie Hill, aged 34, burial 17th Feb Bedminster, Bristol. Unknown marital status.

There is a Whitchurch in Somerset
