What are they under in 1841 Census, I cant find them.
Naming pattern of Children may help also in establishing her Parents.

I have been trying to make sense of all the above.  So I checked out Charlotte Trapnells getting married during the allotted time frame and I found a C.T. marrying a Charles Cole.  Charlotte Cole dies in 1870 aged 68 on the index it states she was born c1803.
The more you check the more involved it gets!!!!!!!!!

So I am back to square one trying to find out info on Joseph and Mary Trapnell.  If it is Martha,
why did she give the name Mary only the once.  I am still not 100% convinced.

Its up to you but I have found many times Mothers names can be changed, eg Lavinia/Levinia/Liv etc. Martha/Mary may just be the same or the transcriber on FreeREG or Vicar made a mistake.

All the Baptisms line up from the 1776 Marriage of Joseph Trapnell to Martha Mullins.

As I said the Witness Maria Trapnell at the 1828 Marriage I think is significant.

Trish :)

Hi Trish

You need to get in touch with Brian Austin, 11 Alma Road, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset, BS23 1RB as he has a one name study on the name Trapnell as that was his wife's maiden name. Unfortunately Brian will not do anything by computer so you need to write to him but I can assure you that he is a very knowledgeable chap as he is also the Weston-Super-Mare local historian.

Good luck with this & I feel sure that Brian should be able to help you

All the very best
