A brown fingerpost sign in Ballymurn directs visitors to the graveyard a kilometre east of the village. The tourism authorities file this place under 1798. A memorial cross commemorating rebel priest Father Thomas Clinch stands near the entrance to the cemetery.

Zj,  i am definitely interested. Seems that i am unable to send a personal message due to "inbox is full". I suspect that is amatter of you being new. At onr time new member had to post a minimum of 3 entries before being permitted access to personal messages. Rootschat does not permit email addresses in posts, so persevere please. Hi Kevin:

Can you give me your contact information in the United States as I own the property that your relatives William and Michael were farm labours on back in 1798 and close to where Father Thomas died heading to the same location.

Regards,

Niall Elliott.

Naill,
From sacramental records of that era and of the parishes of Oylgate and Enniscorthy, I can find only a Richard Glynch marrying Elenor Tobin in 1811, Peter Glinch married to Mary Stafford giving birth to two children in 1813 and 1815, and Michael Glinch married to Catherine Maguire living at Cooladyne and giving birth to large family from 1804-1820 when the records cease for a dozen years. I wonder if your mention of Michael is the fellow from Cooladyne? If so, he lived to be 94. My father turns 92 next week. I have no record of a William being in that area, would love to learn more. I have recently learned of a Moses Glynch married to Sarah Hendricks who had three children leave Wexford in 1830's for Chicago; they lived accross the Slaney near Davidstown evidently. I did not read this post until after i sent the personal message to you.
