I think you need to go one step at a time here.

On the other thread, the family were found in 1881

1881
21 Leverton Str
Kentish Town

Edward PArker 26 carpenter
Fanny 25
E.C son 2 mths

all bn Kentish Town

and the marriage was found
Jane Feb MAr 1877
St PAncras
Edward James Parker / Fanny Saffin

The PR showed him to be a bachelor, carpenter, father Charles
and she to be
spinster, father John a poultere

Witnesses J W Slingsby and C Wickly??

We need to fill out a bit more about her, to ensure we find her parents correctly before we even think about looking for John's parents!!
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

As has already been said, in 1891 Fanny said she was born Somerset.

In 1871 the family are still in Milverton

Fanny isn't there.  All the other children are, plius two more younger ones (Alice 7 and Tom 4)

As has already been found, she is a 16 yr old servant, bn Milverton

Sorry I am going over old ground here, but trying to get it straight in my own mind!

What is missing is any definite link that this Fanny Saffin is the one who marries Parker.

The waters are muddied slightly by the marriage of a Fanny Baker Saffin in Kentish Town (where the Parkers are!) and her father is also a John ....
