Hi duffyfarrell
I was born a Kelly and am in Australia.  I noticed you have a couple of surnames and locations in common in Ireland.

My great, great, grandfather was John Kelly born 1835 in Westmeath.  He married Anna Fox born 1827.  they married 1857 and moved to WA in 1861. He served in the Crimea War and was pensioned, first pension district was Athlone.

Johns parents were Michael and Elizabeth Kelly nee DUFFY from Longford.

Apparently Michael was born in Ardagh/Athlone/Roscommon (sorry, broken brain here), but they are all in the same area of Longford, Roscommon, Athlone, etc.  I would love any links on finding Elizabeth Duffy if you have any, otherwise would love to compare DNA if you have yours done.

Cheers, Katherine Pritchard
