Is a 1911 census request allowed. I have gone all round Scotland in the last few weeks and now need fresh eyes.

John Wilson Holmes   b 1885 Cockpen Midlothian.
Jane Burns Duncan King Holmes b 1886 Lasswade.
Children all born Loanhead.
James  Stewart  Holms b  1907
Robert Roy Holms  b   1909

Your best bet is trying variants of surname & also leaving out middle name & not to assume which area i.e. leave as 'all areas'

I forgot to add, SP is the ONLY place to find Scottish 1911 on paying site although you can search the index free.

What do you know of them after 1911?

Have you found other info. for them in Scotland i.e. deaths/marriages to narrow things down?

John Wilson snr joined the army 1915 , he was still at Lasswade.
more children
Robert Roy Holms  b  20 Sept 1909  Lasswade. From army records.  So age of 3 on 1911 census found may indicate another child.

John Wilson Holms   b  1912 jnr Lasswade.
William Philip Holms b   1915
Jane Burns  Duncan Holms   b 1917 Prestonpans

I have found this one, but there are lots more Hume`s in the same area.
I can`t find the rest of of the family, is there a way of searching with the reference numbers ?
HUME ROBERT Roy 1911  3 Leith North  Midlothian
