Can anyone help with any of the following?
I have a Stephen Denton (surname sometimes spelt as Dainton, Denson etc) marrying an Elizabeth Smith at Quinton on 12th October 1718. Parish record says Stephen from Hardingstone, Elizabeth from Quinton.
Stephen and Elizabeth had four children what I can find:
Sarah Denton baptised 5th October 1719 Quinton
Elizabeth Denton baptised 15th October 1721, buried 19th October 1721 Quinton
Thomas Denton baptised 15th February 1723 Quinton
Elizabeth Denton baptised 9th March 1728 Hardingstone
The only information I can find at Quinton for Smiths is for two burials?
Henry Smith buried 26th August 1713
Mary Smith (singlewoman) buried 7th June 1714
There is some other Dentons mentioned for Hardingstone:
John Denton married Elizabeth Pain 20 June 1719
Thomas Denton married Elizabeth Hutchins 21 June 1729
Susannah Denton married Richard Hollowel 23 November 1723
An Elizabeth Denton was baptised at Hardingstone on 20th January 1691, daughter of a Thomas and Alice?
If anyone can help with any of the above, especially parentage of Stephen Denton and Elizabeth Smith I would be most grateful!
