Possible death as Violet D Robinson aged 57 in Hendon, 1957?

Probate 1958 as Violet Dorothea Robinson, single woman???
But executrix was Nora Frances Judith ROUND, spinster, matching the sister you have found in 1901.

So perhaps single woman (as opposed to spinster) is code for divorced, or similar?

Her address was given as 11 Cornwood Close Lytton Road the same as given on her father Percy's probate 1934

Violet D Robinson is back at Cornwood Close with her mother, but no sign of Ernest, by 1946 and continues to appear there in subsequent electoral rolls.

Perhaps we should not invest too much more time in her & Ernest until waswigg comes back to the thread to digest what has been found and fill us in on the outstanding questions.

Surname Robinson  address Boundfield Road (as given on 1939 London Electoral Register)

OK so Irene Robinson mmn Round, birth reg Dec qtr 1935 Hammersmith.

Married her Mr Brewer in Hendon, Jun qtr 1962.

Died as Irene Brewer in Preston in 2002, showing birthdate of 21 Sep 1935.

In the 1901 census i found a couple Alfrd Adham round and Elizth Eva round who had a daughter
dora may round born in Lewisham who was one year old born about 1900
I dont think that is bad as it make Dora Round about 16 years older than her husband Ernest Robinson.

But see reply #21 for the "correct" family for Dora Round (formally Violet Dorothea Round) in 1901, now corroborated by lots of evidence on the thread.

See also reply #29 for Ernest's birthdate: 1884.  So Dora was c16 yrs younger than him, rather than older.

Grand-daughter b1964 had two sisters b1966 and Faulkner b 1967.
All had same father John E Faulkner b 1934 and mother 1935 Irene Robinson.
Parents of Irene Robinson were Ernest Robinson and Dora Round married 1939 in Lewisham London
