Sebastian Hosgood Occupation
« on: Sunday 26 February 17 11:29 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I'm trying to decipher Sebastian's occupation. I think it says Engineer or Engine smith and maybe hot blast manager but no idea what the top left side of the box says. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Regards
Parker

There's one on the next page that also looks like Hot blast manager  :-\

The enumerator's spelling was pretty awful. Perhaps he normally wrote in Welsh rather than English.

Hi

Dont think it is his spelling.

If you look carefully at the image posted you can see that the S starts on the line, goes part through line above and joins the top of the h in shot.

Spendlove

It looks more like a 'tail' on the h than an S.  Other S's on surrounding pages are quite ornate.
