"On 30th September 1761 appeared Jerosme Jugiez master sculptor in Paris who affirmed to be genuine/true the inventory made at his request by Le Grand and Giraule notaries in Paris on 26th of the same month both in his own name, because of the community that existed between himself and the deceased Christine Victoire Desmaretz his wife, and as the guardian of Jerosme Jugiez their child and sole heir of his said mother. Presence of Guillaume Desmaretz master cordwainer in Paris.......guardian, the said inventory taken as closed."
There is one word I can't make sense of (.....) and the rest I have left as close as possible to the original French which I hope I have translated correctly. If I get any inspiration for the missing word, I'll let you know.
