Reed family history London east end

Hi all and thAnk you for allowing me to join,
I have been researching my reed family for 6 years , really stuck on name of my 3rd great grandmother, I know my 3rd great grandfather was James reed ,his son was James reed 1842 Ratliff Stepney, whom married Susannah Miller 1863
My great 2nd great grandfather was a lighterman , apologies if I've posted in wrong place , just joined , thanks in advance

How sure are you that James Reed jnr was born in 1842?

I have my 2nd great grandfather James reed on census years so I worked out age from that and marriage certificate age and date of marriage,

OK I see that James Reed (lighterman, of Wade St) and Susan Miller (of Mary St) were both minors when they married at Poplar parish church on 15 February 1863.

His father: James Reed, coal porter.
Her father: John Miller, shipwright.
