Looking for death or burial of Mary Newington nee Tompsett abt 1758

Mary Newington nee Tompsett was the wife of Joseph Newington of Ticehurst.  Mary was born 1707 in Wadhurst daughter of James & Sarah Tompsett.

It is said Mary was in her 52 year of her age when she died indicating a burial at St Mary Ticehurst abt  1758-1759 but I am unable to locate her at this point in time and hoping for some assistance.

I can't find her at Ticehurst on SFHG nor A*****ry.  There is a Mary buried on 22 Feb 1764 at Wadhurst and a Joseph in 25 Apr 1752 again at Wadhurst, Apothecary. 

A Mary Newington married John Carter on 23 July 1760 at Ticehurst botp.  Could she have married again hence not finding her burial?

Not much help I'm afraid.
