Ann Sykes and Stephen Taylor
« on: Thursday 16 March 17 11:33 GMT (UK) »
Hi!
Can anyone help with any of the following?

I have an Ann Sykes baptised at Great Addington on 22nd May 1825, daughter of Thomas Sykes (a labourer) and his wife Sarah (nee Piggott).

Ann married at Finedon on 25th July 1843 a Stephen Taylor. Stephens occupation was a Tailor, and his fathers name was Edward Taylor (occupation also a Tailor). Witnesses were Thomas Wright and Robert Munns (he was Anns Brother in law having married her sister Joanna Sykes).

Cant find any trace of them after this marriage in births marriages or deaths, or census returns also?

If anyone can shed any light on the couple I would be most grateful! :)

Do you know what registration district Finedon comes under?

Thinking of looking for an early death then the other could have remarried - maybe

Stephen I think is 25 in 1841 not born in Northants so perhaps they moved away.

Hi! Many thanks for that. I am beginning to think they may have emigrated! :)
