Hi all, many thanks for your help, appreciated it.

Is Jennie b.1889 Eccleshall B. Sheffield really the same Jennie on my grandfather's birth certificate? The full name is correct and she would be childbearing age in 1920 but I was hoping to find more evidence, hence my forum post.

Thanks Mike (mazi), I hadn't spotted a marriage to George Davis, I follow that lead up.

The date of birth for the death in the Fylde in 1977 is spot on for the birth in Eccles. B.

Jennie seems to have a father James, and possibly an elder brother David Simpson Murray who died young, these names are reflected in the names of her own gleeson children, but I am straying into the area of living people here.

None of this is conclusive proof, but all research after 1911 is not easy, we are not yet having any luck with Mary joan
