A fascinating project but it's not clear exactly who is organising this - or am I being dense?

As we have 3 family members who fell in WW1 I'll be interested to watch progress on this.

Thank you for posting the link, Nanny Jan.

There are contact details (address and email) but no name!  I've emailed asking for more details; will update when I get a response.

Why only soldiers? Why not sailors as well?

When are they treating as the end of the First World War? Are they going to treat it as ending with the Armistice on the Western Front, or are they going to take care to include those who died in, e.g. the Russian Intervention of 1918-19 as well?

I agree...I like the concept is a good one but it looks like it's in the early stages and the site needs tweaking...I would prefer it though if it was for "All Servicemen and Women"
Thanks for posting Jan...will be following this with interest.

Good evening,

I have contacted our branch chairman and secretary to find out about this. County HQ should be able to throw some light on the subject.

I must admit, having looked at the website I'm highly sceptical.  There is nothing to say that the Royal British Legion is in any way associated with this, just that the site is 'in support of' them, with a very bad cut/paste of the logo.
