Hi josey it seems strange if they married aged 26&20 why they had their first child in 1889 maybe they were Agnes grandparents? Do you think that's possible
Thanks

Hi Girls, I know that Josey found the death of an Arthur O'Donnell age 0 yesterday, but can anyone find dad Arthur's death, which occured before Agnes married in 1915,and if she was divorced who and where did she marry the first time?

And when did mum Ann(Annie) die,not found her either.

Agnes's dad Arthur was supposedly a deceased labourer by the time she married in 1915.
Not sure a confectioner fits the bill  8)

They married from 17 Washington Street Glasgow,is there anything we can glean from that address?

I was just pointing out the family [to add to the confusion  ;D ;D] and felt the occupation ruled them out.

ADDED: Have looked on NRS site http://catalogue.nrscotland.gov.uk for a divorce 1905 - 1915 but none found; as Scottish custom is to call a married woman 'Mrs Forename Maiden Name or Married name' you can search with Agnes + ODonnell [can't use apostrophe is search field].

It's in Anderston, may have been an accommodation address?

I see that no siblings were witnesses at the marriage....

ADDED: In 1901 Bridget may be living with married sister Annie
