The elusive Mary Ann Freeman (1832)

Hi all

I'm at my wit's end with this one. I'm looking to find any more information, in particular a birth, for Mary Ann Freeman. I've attached images of the 1871 census, which has all her children, her marriage record and a (possible) workhouse admission. I have census records from 1861-1911 which have her birth as 1832. Confusingly, while 1861-81 have her birth place as London, Middlesex, 1891 has 'London, Old Kent Road', 1901 as 'Colchester, Essex' and 1911 as 'Not known'.

According to the marriage record, her father is a John Freeman, Draper. The workhouse in question is Wapping, and has a record for a single woman of 19 years of age, which would correlate to Mary's age, and Wapping is near Deptford, Mary's Parish at the time of her marriage. Anyway, I hope this provides something to go on and you can shed more light than me!

On line tree gives her baptism as 7/9/1834 Holy Trinity Clapham parents John & Mary.

William Turner is from Marlborough Wiltshire, they marry in Deptford Kent.
1861 they are with his brother Thomas Turner in Berkshire
Then Frome Somerset.

Do you know what took them to Somerset? These counties are some distance apart.

The first 3 children were baptized at the Zion Independent Chapel, Frome.

Who was the non conformist, William or Mary?

I would check as many Independent registers for Essex and Middlesex
