My dad was according to the records served on The Victory (maybe a shore base)  from March 1941 to June 1942,

 Is he likely to have had leave during this time?

Jakky,  H.M.S. Victory was the name of the main R.N.barracks in Portsmouth,
it is quite possible that your Dad was able to get leave,depending on the situation at the time.
