Hi K
I dont know if this is the right one until I get more information from the states.Thomas was born 1923 and died 1989 in Montana. My son-in-law told me his grandfather Thomas had Irish connections, and was buried in Irish tradition.Whether Thomas's father Simon was born in ireland,or Thomas was born there,I don't know.My little grandson of 10,has just become interested in his family history, thats who I am asking for.
Thanks

Hi lili --  well if you're think they were actually born in Ireland than we probably don't have a match here.

Any idea as to Simon's  profession?
Any idea on Thomas' siblings names??

Will run Simon & Alice Tracey again with birth in Ireland and see if a family comes up with a son Thomas J.

When you get more information,  post again.  The data base in 1930 is HUGE --  there could be 1000's of matches for Simon, Alice & Thomas Tracey.

Also, it is rare that you will find a birth date dead on in the US census --  the question of age is asked based on age on last birthday.  Census taken in April.  So can flux  can be at best case a year sometimes more if people didn't keep track very well or sometimes it just plain error on the census giver/taker's part.

If Thomas born is 1923, he would be 7 in 1930 --  we were looking for 1925 and 5 years before.

Will be back to you ....

Hi K
Thanks for taking the time,I don't know at the moment any of Thomas's brothers/sisters,or the occupation of Simon. The only thing I have on Alice is that her maiden name was White.
Thanks
