Hi well in 1881 a Hiram Craven aged 55 occ Steamship Owner( plus more) b Heaton, Yorks was at that address in Bishop Wearmouth

Hi again in 1891 a Hiram Craven is still at The Briery, Montpellier Terrace,  Bishop Wearmouth, Chester le Street

Hi again,  transcribed as THE  BRIARY in 1901 a Frederick Gordon 52 occ Colliery Owner with wife Mary 51, Arthur Wiener Gordon 23, Charles Wilfred Gordon 21 and a married daughter Florence Annie Warrand 27 with a Kenneth Charles Clay Warrand 0
