My great uncle Arthur Cooke was born 25 May 1874 in Eye, Herefordshire.On27 sept 1904 he  departed from Liverpool on the Saxonia for Boston , Mass.He  died on 27 Dec 1941 in Church,Wetzel County, West Virginia. That s  all I know of him. I didn't know of his existence.Is any  information available re his life and death ...in Wetzel  county.ive drawn a blank. Jimbach.

Where did the information come from about his death?  I see multiple trees with that death date, but I'm not seeing a source.  West Virginia death records from that time frame are usually easy to find, but I don't see any that fit.

I see him on an incoming passenger list for 6 Oct 1904 (left  Liverpool 27 Sept. 1904). Line 16.  His destination is Boston  and his contact there looks like The Salvation Army?

Is this him on the 1901 census?

If so, his occupation is listed as gardener, but on incoming passenger list in 1904 he is listed as a decorator? These occupation types are completely different?
