My apologies for failing to mention the curator at the Bridgwater Museum confirmed John BLAKE's wife as Joan. I was the person who supplied him with her surname, RAWSON.

Thanks for the response acknowledging my communication. I intend to return to Over Stowie this coming summer. By the way, here in Carolina, there is a little remaining of the Plainsfield Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina that was owned by Joseph Blake, provincial governor of the South Carolina colony, 1685.
