Death Mary Barrow - Bolton

I have been looking at burials for Bolton St Peter in Bolton library.

Found James, 1 year old son of Samuel 25 June 1826;

Joseph, 1, son of Samuel 6 May 1828.

Also found, online, Ann, daughter of Samuel Barow (one 'r') 1 year old 13 Feb 1831 in Rochdale.

Samuel remarried in Rochdale......

Not sure if the puzzle of Mary's death will be solved. Mind you I got up to 1833 in the burials today - 8 years to go....

is it possible she would have been buried  at the same place as Samuel

I didn't think of that. So the burials for  Bury would need to be checked.

In the 1841 census, there is a Samuel Barrow, 35 living in Aston-under-Lyne with Mary 30 plus two children Elizabeth Ann, 12 and Hannah, 9.

1. Samuel remarried so can this possibly be the missing Mary??

2. What happened to the children?

you said your Samuel married Sarah Gaskell in 1841 (March qtr). The 1841 census was not taken until June so by then he was married to Sarah

This census more likely - living in Prestwich

There are several Samuel Barrows of a similar age in Bolton so the occupation is important. The Samuel in the census you quote above is an innkeeper
