Got all excited when I found the death of a Mary Barrow aged 35, buried at St Mary's Church, Deane in Bolton - but realised it was 26th Jan 1843, and her husband's name was George. Sorry. But at least you may eliminate that woman.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

Now I didn't know about these two....!!!!

Thank you very much indeed.

I reiterate that Mary (Roberts) must have died young as there are no other children shown on the 1841 or 1851 censuses - I assume relatives wouldn't have looked after them....

SORRY, they WERE Mary's children.....!

So we may know a tighter timeline for her death?

Were there children previously??

Thank you. I did wonder as there are no signs of other children and Ellen isn't in the family.

Mary must have died shortly after marriage??

Are their Bolton burials missing from the online records?

I'd also found and assumed the "Samuel Barrow - tailor" was the correct one - think I'd got there from the marriage record.
There were many non-conformist chapels in the Bolton area at the time, and unfortunately not many have records available easily online - I know, because I've been hunting in vain for some of my lot. It could be worth trying to find her that way?
