Hi,
I am looking for someone to look up the Birth Details of a Kate Jones. If that is possible.
She was registered in the Lichfield District in the Mar qtr of 1877.
Vol 6B Page 486 Line Number 24.
Her Mother hopefully would be a Catherine/Kate Walsh/Welsh, brn Hanley, Staffordshire abt 1852-54.
Sorry, her Mothers age changes a bit on the Census. ::)

On the GRO Birth Index the mother's maiden  name is listed as Welch  https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

It isn't possible to lookup up details on the GRO Registers :-\
You have to buy a certificate to see the details. ;D

Fortunately, the new search facility lists Mother's Maiden Names for nearly all births from 1837 to 1916. (Kay provided the link)
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
