This looks to be them. anyone can search the free newspapers, sometimes give clues, you only have to pay to view .

The person you have searched Fox for says he cant thank you enough for this,he cant believe you have found all this info.
When all he knew was he was a reverend in IOW.

sorry Sevenoks is where they were living in 1939.

Even if someone has a subscription for the 1939 Register, they aren't allowed to tell you what is on it!
The Register is covered by copyright, and it's against FindMyPast's terms and conditions to disclose information.
It's also against the rules of RootsChat.

I don't think they had any children. :-\

The other person seems to be Edith's mother-Susan L LEAT. I got lucky with a free search on that one-not many LEATs in Sevenoaks and Harry's name came up in the household.

Many thanks  for this no proof they had a son then as I can find no birth anywhere for one
