researching my fathers family .
« on: Thursday 15 June 17 12:14 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am new on here , and I am  not very good on a computer, I am trying to trace my late fathers family from Londonderry/Derry.
his name was William Daly Brown or Browne. his father was William John Brown his father was David Brown and he married Mary Anne Mitchell Davids  father was Patrick Brown who married Isabella Duffym I have got quite a bit of info marriage certificates birth certificates and census results,

but cannot find any record of the birth of David or Patrick or any relations beyond those two.sorry that should read Isabella Duffy,
I would be very grateful for any help advice or information received,

Lots of information on the family in previous thread where you posted a few times yesterday-
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=754447.msg6264085#msg6264085

Civil registration of births started in 1864 so there will be no birth certificate for David Brown who married in 1885 as he was born before 1864.

Births from 1864-1916 should be here-

thanks to everyone for the help and information I have been on other sites, some I have paid for and although I did get a lot of information from them I have got much more from this one, I will have to see if I can now find family members from my fathers  mothers side.
