I presume from the 'creative spelling' that the 1851 census transcription above is from A******y. Using the much better transcription at https://www.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl it says that Alexander John Sr was born in Halifax N America and that Alexander John Jr was born in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Have you looked at either of these death certs?

Both should provide parent names

WILSON  ( Other last name - TAYLOR)
JANE WALKER
64
1886
644/12 208
Gorbals

WILSON
ALEXANDER JOHN
74
1886
644/12 361
Gorbals

EDIT:
Apologies. I see from an earlier post that you already have the parent info from  Alexander John's 1886 DC

To mwjw22jb I have photos of Alexander J WILSON if you would like copies. His daughter Jane Walker Wilson married John Henry Savile. John Henry Savile's father came to Australia in 1855 and I am a descendant of his living in Aust.
