Just found the marriage of John and Dorothy in my Llangollen marriages booklet. Also Dorothy's previous marriage (as Dorothy Morris) to Edward Edwards in Llangollen on 23 August 1774.

Not found Thomas Lee so far but he could have been non-conformist. Will see if I can find him later this evening.

Hi again

Nothing in the non-conformist records that I have or my Llangollen booklets.

There is a Thomas Lee baptised in Llansanffraid Glyn Ceiriog but I'm not sure. Glyn Ceiriog - we locals usually drop the Llansanffraid - is just over the mountain from Llangollen so it's worth keeping it as a possible:

21 May 1780 Thomas Lee. Parents - Morris and Ann

This map  gives an idea of the distances:

I see that that Morris is recorded as a weaver.

Thomas and Eleanor had a daughter, Jane, baptised 6 November 1814 in Llangollen. Thomas is recorded as a weaver, which would fit with his occupation in 1841 and 1851. I wonder if Jane became Amelia as there is no record of a baptism for her (or a similar name) in Llangollen.

I'm not sure that you have this ~

In 1841, the Lee family and the Jacksons are together in Walter St, Manchester. The Jacksons are shown as a separate household within the same house. This is denoted by a  single / in the left margin of the census page.

Amelia and Jane seem to have been born on the same year , at least baptized on the same year .But no trace of Jane later than 1814.
Could be a change of names , but why?
Is there any birth registration for Amelia or Jane ? I could not find any. Or a burial for Jane?

No birth registrations in England and Wales until 1837. I've not checked for burial yet but no baptism for an Amelia. changing a first name is not illegal. Jane  could have just decided to become Amelia.
